Foreword

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

We hope and pray that with these writings we could make a humble contribution to our spiritual and worldly knowledge. These writings are a small present to our brothers and sisters in religion and to all human kind whom we can reach. With God’s permission we hope to share this knowledge with you all and this way be able to do a good deed and service to God. That is all we ask and pray for.

Dear readers, the information you are going to get in these pages comes from a combination of sources which include things we have learned from holy books and texts, from our sheikhs, from our teachers, from religious scholars and most important of all from the Qur’an and the Hadith.

We as human beings have a natural tendency to judge what we learn based on our own beliefs, customs and traditions. We ask you to please try to keep an open mind when reading these discourses and focus on the important goal of better understanding God and becoming closer to God as you embark on this journey.

May God help us all. Surely He is the One who could help us and He is the One who guides us to the right path. We ask God for His forgiveness for all our mistakes.

Faqir Ilhan-al Jerrahi
